Description
The Fecken & Kirfel R21/88 is a system for the efficient and economical production of long, thin sheets of flexible polyurethane foam. Its compact configuration allows for the continuous processing of cylindrical material in limited production spaces.
During the process, the cylinder is continuously fed to the circulating bandknife, which peels the material to a preset thickness. The resulting sheet is wound by the R88 winding device, whose tractive force simultaneously provides the rotational movement of the processed cylinder.
The layer thickness is set by changing gears or, optionally, electronically. The selected setting is converted into vertical movement via lifting spindles, which gradually move the cylinder toward the bandknife and maintain the continuous peeling process.
