Description
The H23-N by Fecken & Kirfel is a specialized band saw for the precision cutting of block materials into layers of various thicknesses. The material is firmly fixed onto a vacuum table that moves smoothly on hardened and ground steel guides.
The table movement is achieved via a rack and pinion and a frequency-controlled electric motor-reducer, allowing for controlled motion during the cutting process. Depending on the length of the vacuum table, one or more blocks can be loaded for sequential processing.
After each cut, the finished layer is removed, and a dwell time between 0.5 and 10 seconds can be programmed to facilitate the workflow. The cutting unit then lifts automatically, allowing the table to return.
