R23 – Bandknife Peeling Machine
Description
The Fecken & Kirfel R23 is a machine for the economical and efficient production of long, thin sheets through the continuous peeling of cylindrical material. Its compact design allows for the organization of the production process even when available space is limited.
The cylinder is set into rotation by a peeling spindle and an infinitely adjustable feed roller. During processing, the material is continuously fed to the circulating bandknife, and the resulting sheet is taken up and wound by an R39 winding machine.
The required layer thickness is set by changing gears or, optionally, electronically. Lifting spindles convert this setting into vertical movement, gradually moving the cylinder toward the bandknife to ensure a continuous peeling process.
