R22/E – Bandknife Peeling Machine
Description
The R22/E by Fecken & Kirfel is a machine for the efficient and economical production of long and thin sheets through the continuous peeling of cylindrical material. Its compact design allows for the organization of the production process within limited space.
The cylinder is set into rotation by means of a peeling spindle and an infinitely adjustable feed roller. During processing, the material is continuously fed to the circulating bandknife, and the resulting thin sheet is taken up and wound by the subsequent R88E winding machine.
The required layer thickness is adjusted by changing gears or, optionally, electronically. Lifting spindles convert the setting into vertical movement, so that the cylinder gradually moves towards the knife according to the pre-set thickness.
