H24-T – Precision splitting machine for thin layers
Description
The H24-T by Fecken & Kirfel is a machine for the precision splitting of blocks and slabs into very thin layers. Depending on the material processed, thicknesses between 0.3 and 1.0 mm can be achieved, allowing for operations with high requirements for the thinness of the final product.
The material is fixed onto a vacuum table. Upon starting the cut, a special take-off conveyor picks up the split layer directly at the knife and transports it to the operator at the front of the machine.
This method of discharge limits the contact of the finished layer with the knife guide, thereby significantly reducing or preventing the appearance of marks and unwanted changes to the material surface. The standard version of the H24-T is designed for processing materials with a maximum thickness of 50 mm.
