R24 bandknife peeling machine
R24 – Bandknife Peeling Machine

Description
The Fecken & Kirfel R24 is a machine for the economical and efficient production of long and thin sheets through the continuous peeling of cylindrical material. The compact design allows for the organization of the production process within a limited space.
The cylinder is set into rotation by a peeling spindle and an infinitely adjustable feed roller. During processing, the material is continuously fed to the circulating bandknife, and the resulting sheet is wound using an R58 or R59 winding machine.
The required layer thickness is set by changing gears or, optionally, electronically. Lifting spindles convert the setting into vertical movement and move the cylinder toward the knife in accordance with the pre-set thickness.
